About Me

- Name: Lauralyn S
I am a mixed-media artist. After a recent shoulder injury, I realized creative time is as beneficial as daily physical therapy, and a lot less painful! I started drawing again and have been every day since. I challenged myself as part of my own "art therapy" to make a bookmark a day for the next 365 days, combining my love of books and art.

What a cool idea...I love the look of these!
funny that you used an eye. I woke this morning with a clear image of an eye. Can't wait to see the tin. Yesterday,d-7,I started my sketch with an eye.
This is TOO cool! Are u trading this or,keeping it,giving it to someone?? I still have yet to alter a tin, but soon.......Where did u get the magnet backs??
Found something really cool a while ago through not Martha (love her)...
Acrylic cabochons! You can get them really inexpensively through Tap Plastics. These work better than the glass ones for two reasons: a) they are completely flat so you can place your art better, no bubbles, and b)if you drop them they won't break.
Oh, and also found (same page) that you can buy the mint tins at Impress Rubber Stamps.
Hope to see more of your art! Post some pics of your magnets when you finish them?!
